Mobile apps,
built to ship —
and last.
Harshit Diyora is a Lead Mobile Developer based in Surat, India with 11+ years of experience building production iOS apps in Swift and SwiftUI, cross-platform products with Flutter and React Native, and on-device AI features using MediaPipe and Apple's Vision Framework. He has shipped 10 apps to the App Store across five companies — from junior iOS developer to mobile tech lead. Currently leading mobile at NexTurn India, building real-time physiotherapy and posture analysis tools that run entirely on-device for privacy and performance. Available for remote iOS tech-lead engagements, fractional CTO roles in mobile-first startups, and short-term architecture audits.

A decade in iOS, every release shipped.
I started writing iOS apps in 2014 as an intern at TOPS Technologies — back when Swift had just been announced and Objective-C was still the daily driver. Eleven years later I'm leading mobile at NexTurn India, where I build AI-powered physiotherapy apps with MediaPipe and the Vision Framework.
I work natively in Swift and Objective-C, with deep fluency in SwiftUI, UIKit, ARKit, Core Data and Core Location. I've shipped across five companies — from junior iOS dev to lead engineer — and led teams through the full release cycle: requirements, architecture, CI/CD with Fastlane and Jenkins, App Store submission.
What I care about: clean architecture (MVC, MVVM, Clean — pick the right one for the team), SOLID code that the next engineer can read, and computer-vision features that work reliably on a four-year-old device.
The tools, fluent.
Seven languages across four platforms. Native iOS & Android when polish matters; Flutter and React Native when shipping speed wins.
Eleven years, five companies.
NexTurn India Pvt. Ltd.
Leading mobile development for a real-time posture analysis platform using MediaPipe and Vision Framework. Architecting SwiftUI apps with Clean Architecture, driving AI feature roadmap, and managing cross-functional delivery.
Shivam Jewels
Owned the end-to-end iOS roadmap for a jewellery retail platform. Built SJWorld app from scratch, doubled release cadence, established CI/CD pipeline with Fastlane, and mentored a team of four engineers.
DRC Infotech
Delivered iOS apps across healthcare, fintech, and enterprise domains. Led Swift/Obj-C codebase audits, introduced SOLID principles, and authored a clean-architecture refactor plan still in production use.
Antim Technologies LLP
Built native iOS apps from the ground up using Objective-C and early Swift. Shipped four production apps, gaining deep UIKit and MVC foundations that underpin every architecture decision since.
TOPS Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
Completed a structured iOS development programme covering Cocoa frameworks, Xcode toolchain, and first production app submissions. Foundation of an 11-year mobile career.
How I can help.
Engagements ranging from a one-week audit to a six-month mobile-lead embed. Project-based, fractional, or full-time.
Native iOS development.
Swift and Objective-C, SwiftUI and UIKit. Eleven years of production iOS — apps that feel platform-native because they are. Specializing in performance-critical features, complex animations, on-device AI, and architectures that scale from MVP to 100k+ users without rewrites.
Computer vision & AI features.
MediaPipe pose detection, Vision Framework, Core ML, ARKit. Real-time motion tracking and posture analysis built to run on real devices, not demos. Production-deployed at NexTurn India for physiotherapy tools that process 30 fps skeletal data with sub-50ms latency on an iPhone 12.
iOS architecture.
MVC, MVVM, MVP, VIPER, Clean — picked for the team and the codebase, not the conference talk. SOLID principles applied where they actually pay off. I make the architectural decision early, document the rationale, and enforce it through code review so the codebase stays coherent as the team grows.
App Store delivery.
CI/CD with Fastlane and Jenkins, XCTest + XCUITest coverage, Bitbucket / Git workflows, App Store submission and phased rollouts. I've managed 10+ submissions across five companies — binary uploads, metadata, review responses, and expedited review requests. Release day should be boring.
API integration & backend glue.
RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, Alamofire, authentication models, Core Data persistence, Core Location. The unglamorous wiring that makes apps feel fast. I've integrated payment gateways, biometric auth flows, real-time data streams, and push notification pipelines across iOS and cross-platform stacks.
Mobile leadership.
Tech-lead engagements: requirements gathering through release. Mentoring junior devs, code review culture, sprint planning and retrospectives, agile / Scrum. I work best when I own the full mobile vertical — from choosing the architecture to approving the final TestFlight build before production.
Engagements start with a discovery call to understand the product, team, and timeline. From there I move to architecture — picking the right pattern (MVVM, VIPER, Clean) for the team's size and the app's complexity, not the conference-talk favourite. I work in two-week cycles, ship to TestFlight weekly, and don't wait for a “perfect” branch before getting working code in front of stakeholders.
CI/CD is non-negotiable. Fastlane pipelines, XCTest coverage, and automated App Store submissions mean release day is boring — which is exactly how it should be. Based in Surat, Gujarat, India. Available for remote iOS tech-lead engagements worldwide, short-term audits, and fractional CTO roles in mobile-first startups.
Before you reach out.
- What timezone and hours do you work?
- I'm based in India (IST, UTC+5:30). I overlap with European mornings and US East Coast evenings for meetings. Async-first with regular sync checkpoints — most teams find this works well for remote collaboration.
- Do you take full-time roles or only contract?
- Both. I'm open to full-time remote roles as a lead iOS or mobile engineer, as well as fractional tech-lead, contract, and audit engagements. Short-term iOS architecture reviews are also available for teams that just need a second opinion.
- What is your experience with App Store submission and review?
- I've managed 10+ App Store submissions across five companies — binary uploads, metadata localisation, review response letters, phased rollouts, and expedited review requests. No surprises on launch day.
- Can you work on Android as well as iOS?
- Yes. I build cross-platform with Flutter and React Native when shipping speed matters, and native iOS when platform depth is the priority. For greenfield projects I'll help you choose the right approach for your team and timeline.
- What does an engagement with you look like?
- Starts with a scoping call to understand the product, team size, and timeline. I work in two-week cycles, ship to TestFlight weekly, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Fastlane so releases are predictable, not stressful. Engagements run from a one-week audit up to a six-month mobile-lead embed.
From people who shipped with me.
Harshit owned our iOS architecture end-to-end. The Vision-based posture module shipped on schedule and accuracy was beyond what we benchmarked against.
Rare lead engineer who manages the project, mentors juniors, and still writes the trickiest module himself. Our release cadence doubled in his first quarter.
Brought him in for a Swift / Objective-C codebase audit. He came back with a clean-architecture refactor plan that we're still shipping against two years later.
